I am thinking about ordering a Metro dryer. It seems as if they have 3 different sizes. What size should I get? And from where should I order it? Thanks for any help. :)

I ordered mine from amazon. And I HIGHLY recommend the two speed. Personally, I think the one speed would have a bit too much power. The lower speed is MORE than enough. It should run you around $100 I think. It's worth it. You will die when you use it the first time. It dries them in 1/4 of the time.

I recently bought the 1.17hp Metro with variable speed. I just love the variable speed part because the air flow can be adjusted from nothing to full force hurricane. I don't think I ever had it about 50% and that was plenty. It was $30 more, but I would now never even consider a 2-speed. I got mine from Petedge.com because I also bought shampoos and stuff.

Thanks Kira and Linda. I ordered the vari-speed one from PetEdge. This should be interesting as I've never used one of these before. It'll probably blow me out of the bathroom! LOL!

You mean I don't have to spend at least an hour in a sweaty, furry bathroom dying from the heat? *sigh* What a relief!

A Metro isn't a heated dryer, but does get warm after awhile. I usually end up taking off my sweater while drying the cats because I get to warm in the small bathroom. A forced air dryer is the best tool along with my greyhound comb that I use. I had a teeny pet dryer before I got my first Metro and it took forever! I think it was made for tiny short hair dogs.
