Glad the breeder was that responsible and hopefully the person/people that bought the cat will not get another cat! I wonder if their other two are dsh and they just didn't feel they could afford the grooming bills. Flea medicine is expensive tho if you're buying it for 2 cats.. why not a 3rd cat? I hope that purebred if sold again will really get a good "forever" home.
I know that I am all late but I thought that the person that brought the cat gave it to someone and they are the ones that gave the kitten to the shelter.
Not too many heroes here, actually. The folks who originally bought the ragdoll from the breeder should have returned the cat to the breeder if they could not keep it rather than give it to someone else. [They should not get another cat.] The people they chose to give the poor cat to do not appear to be responsible owners. They did not realize that owning a cat incurs expense to maintain its health. [They should not have taken on another cat.]
The breeder who reclaimed her cat is the only hero -- aside from the good folks in the rescue shelter who did the right thing and called her up when they saw the papers.
