Well we were at the hospital pretty much all day on Friday. The surgeon was running behind so mom's surgery was later in the day than anticipated. We got home and got her settled about 8pm. My aunt stayed over with mom on Friday night and I came and stayed Saturday afternoon and over night Saturday...once mom was up and moving around on her own on Sunday then I went home. She is pretty sore and complaining more about the incision in her arm pit more than anything just as you said you did Denise. She still was leaking a tiny bit of blood from the incision sites on Saturday but it seems to have stopped as of yesterday. She has a friend from work picking her up this morning to take her in to work and then someone else bringing her home tonite. She is still taking her pain meds so she is unable to drive.

We should hear something this week about the lymph node biopsy...please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers and keep the good vibes coming. As long as all is ok with the node biobsy she will start radiation treatments in aproximently 4 weeks.

Needless to say it has been a long weekend but mom is doing well overall and looking forward to her puppy in the coming weeks.

Good to read your Mom got thru the surgery Ok and sorry that she has more incisional pain tho that's probably an individual thing and maybe also dependant on surgical technique. Hopefully that'll reduce soon. I'll definately keep your Mom in my thoughts and prayers and hope that everything is Ok with the node biopsy. Sending good health thoughts for your Mom.

Ugh, HEather. This must be so stressful for you. Sending healing thoughts and prayers I'm so glad the surgery went smoothly, and hopefully the biopsy will come back with encouraging results.

I am so glad everything went ok.
It's never nice to have leftover pain or discomfort
but I think if the incision site is the thing that bothers her
most then that should be a positive sign.
