7 cats bathed, & dried, & nails clipped. 6 Cats were also shaved. My back is killing me!

Holy crap...I do 2 at a time lion cuts and baths and that is usually enough to wear me out!! That is something else...7 baths 6 shaves...

I just do it like an assembly line.
Bath 1st cat, rinse. Later up in anti fungal shampoo, place in carrier.
Bath next cat, repeat process.
I put 4 girls soaking wet per carrier. I use the top loading carriers for soaking.
1 Male per carrier.
Once everyone is soaking in the shampoo, then I take the 1st one out. Fully rinse clean and blow dry.
Come back and repeat till everyone is done. Sometimes my hubby dries them for me.
This is our weekly process other than the shaving. I prefer to shave everyone (aside from kittens and show cats) about every 2 months. They generally have 2-3 inches of coat, then I take it all off again. Life is a lot easier that way.

Can you come do mine? I have been lax about the boys - time to knuckle down and get them in show coat. I think the most I have done in a day is 5 (all show baths).

And, the last step is to take PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to get them in show coat? LOL Mine would take a year to accomplish. It takes hardly no time to bath and dry cats with no coats. LOL
A show bath typically takes me 3 hours or so?
A weekly bath 10-15 mins of scrubbing, rinsing and 15-20 to dry.
I make it really simply.
I fill the sink 1/2 way with water and add Dawn or Ivory dish soap to the water. Soak the cat down in it. Scrubb. Do face/head in Johnson & Johnson Tearless shampoo and wash cloth. Rinse clean. Later up again in anti fungal shampoo and allow to soak for about 1/2 hr. Rinse and dry. The only oily cat I have is Mr. Fatty McFatster. Since we bath weekly no one seems to need much done to them.

Since I spent all day/night doing all the adults, I didn't get to go to my g/f house to bath the babies.
I've scheduled going to my baby sisters house Monday.
Every Monday we have dinner together while her husband is in Baghdad. We alternate Mondays for who's cooking. This coming Monday is her turn to cook. I've already asked if I could bring the babies to bath after dinner. It's a GO! So hopefully Monday night I'll have new pics for you to enjoy.
