OBVIOUSLY, the humidifier is only exciting because of the awesome box it came in. Chunk REALLY wants to sit in the box with Puffy, but that does not make her happy.

YOu should have seen her getting in there. She got her big fat belly stuck on the flap jumping in, so her fat little legs were scrambling up in the air for a moment. She recovered gracefully and clearly pretended it didn't happen.


Puffy went to have a poo, and Chunksters stole the box momentarily. Look at that curled tail. It indicates he is VERY pleased with himself. He got bored after about 30 seconds in the box, and went to play with that ping pong ball you can see behind him.

They are both adorable! I've sat boxes out for Miracle to play with but she doesn't care for them.

You're kidding me! What about pieces of paper or plastic bags? Chunk is a bit obsessed with plastic bags. He chews on them... sooo we don't have plastic bags at my house anymore I bought a bunch of Valentine's cards yesterday and Puffy sat her big fat butt on every single sheet.

Thanks, Mary... it is often hard to leave them alone all day. But, that is why I got Chunk, so that they have each other for buddies.

The new job and location are going well. I've maxed out a bit on my stress level, so I'm trying to calm down a bit and take it easy. THe new job is still a bit stressful, I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet but I'm trying. I work for the Vice President of Operations so it is a bit more stressful than having just a normal "manager"... he pretty much runs the company. And then I've been a bit stressed about leaving the babies home since Puffy got so sick last week.

The location is ok. I'm trying to make some friends. I joined the Boulder Rugby team yesterday. I've always wanted to play but have been too scared. I sent them an email and they were incredibly kind and it looks like there are at least ten other new girls as well. Soooo now I need to go run or something because I'm out of shape! I think I might do a diet cleanse next week to get ready for practices and such.

Have you checked out Meetup.com? I think they have them in many places in the states and meetup is just what it says it is with various groups forming to meet other people with like interests. I joined one that did walks in town and one that went to dinner, one that was women's social meet up with ages from 20's to my age (late 50's) and there are many more. Might be worth checking out in there to see if you can meet some new peeps like to go to dinner with, movies, hiking, walking ... whatever!

re boxes and plastic bags.. my kitties aren't as energetic for jumping into boxes~ or at least not when they can walk into a bag or just sit on one! Alaska LOVES when I leave a plastic bag on the bed. She will turn round and round and make herself so comfy on this bag.. I guess they heat up quite a bit or something! Plastic bags are noisy when I'm trying to do anything tho I love what a kick Alaska gets out of a plastic bag! Winnie will try to eat it!!!
