winners come out as champions...
You must watch at least some of it..
I'm not a football fan, but will watch the half time show at least, then
the second half of the game.
Everyone, at least in the States, has football parties...and have massive amounts
of food, like chicken wings, tacos, chili, you know, all those wonderful high
energy" foods
I might at least make a pot of chili in honor of the game, even though it's just me
and the hubby

Not sure if all countries allow transmission of the commercials. I don't think they are shown in Canada -- Joan could tell you for sure. I have no interest in American football and never watch the Super Bowl.

I enjoy watching the World Cup (soccer, as it is known in North America). I prefer the build of soccer players to that of football players.

Barb is right, usually we only get to see those great new commercials
when they start airing them following the game in the following days..
We get other ads instead...Even if I watch the game on NBC or other American network,
the ads are taken over by Canadian content.
Although this year...I was listening to the news, and it seems a lot of
the new commercials for the game have been seen on Utube already..

My most favourite of the Super Bowl commercials was one put out by the company
my daughter works for, EDS. It was the one with the cowboys rounding up all the kitties..
like it was a cattle drive
The next year they did another good one, but not as good as the cats one...this one was
based on the bull run in Spain..the one in the streets where they let the bulls go and all the guys
try and run away from them without being hit? Except instead of bulls, they used squirrels..LOL!
