Have you seen these silly bands? They are so neat!

All the kids are wearing these silly bands! Very popular here. They are rubber bands that kids wear on their wrists but are different from those different color, jelly bands...these are shapes automatically when you take them off!

They have all sorts of shapes anywhere from tools to zoo animals! Some even glow in the dark!

And they have CAT ones!

Nope, with no kids around most of the time I miss out on this stuff, you will have to post pictures.

I think they are really for older kids for safety reasons of course not little ones (even though I have seen a lot of little ones wearing them but I don't recommend that personally-my opinion there).

Some schools "band" them and kids cannot wear them to school, but my son could wear them at his school.
The kids had fun swapping them out and all at school. He was given a piano and ever since has collected them. He has a special hedgehog that he likes that is said to be rare. Red, white and blue ones came out just in time for the Fourth of July! They are sold everywhere these days from card shops to gas station stops to mall bubble gum machines!

Remember the stuff that was around when you were a kid that seemed to be the craze? Like beanie babies and going way back here--like Klackers (two glass balls each having a strick and you would clack them together (they were dangerous and I think eventually taken off the market?) and the pet rock of course from the 70's. What do you remember?

I would like to buy a couple of packs and save them for fun so we can see them years from now! It is fun to keep some of these crazes as it brings back memories and some things become valuable to collectors. I still have a Dawn doll I used to play with and enjoy the doll and toy shows that they have here in the Fall. They have so many fun things at those doll and toy shows!

I am going to see if I can find a good picture of them online or if you could type in your search engine 'picture of what silly bandz look like'. Maybe you can see them too. If you saw them, you would like to get the cats....maybe they even have a persian! It would make for an interesting conversation piece!

My kids have them, started with Cassie, who's six. Her friends had some so of course she wanted them as well. Tamara, my 16 year old wears them as well. They are quite cute.

yes, there have a big display out in our stores now with back to school items.. my grandsons can't have them to take to school, mom, being a teacher, can just imagine what they could do with rubberbands, but they are cute.

GOOD GRIEF YES~! My daughter has a ton of them. She likes to drive us crazy with buying her more and more. LOL

When I was young in school it was "slap bracelets" They were like a thin metal covered in decorated cover...and they laid flat unless you slapped them against something and they would curl up...so you could just slap them on your wrist and they would go around like a bracelet. The problem was the cover wore out after a while then you would get cut by the metal LOL. I had like 100 of them!!!!

My two granddaughters wear them. I actually had to send some down to my
niece's daughter in West Virginia as they were sold out where she lives.

on tons of them! I have seen some kids have tons on too. My son only wears some of them though and takes them off at night - I don't recommend sleeping with them on.

I can believe about some being sold out and all! They have become so popular. Dino ones are really neat!!!!

I must get the cats! LOL! I also saw rings and necklaces that do the same thing! I forgot to mention those too. I haven't any of the rings nor necklaces as I have a boy and he isn't interested in the rings or the necklaces.

Oh to be a kid again! LOL!
