I have three Persians I need to find new homes for due to allergies
Katie a torti she is 9 years old loves to sit in your lap in the evening and nuzzle, she is DE-clawed and fixed, she hates boy cats and will terrorize them.
madison a 5 year old dilute calico very quiet and likes to sit on the fenced in patio.
Princess a two year old torti, she is on meds for a bad stomach but is a loving and very small kittie she would be best as an only kittie she will go after the calmer quiet cats.

we are located on the central coast of California
thank you

There are medications you can take for cat allergies as well as shots that you can get from an allergist to help build your resistance that you may want to look into as an alternative to rehoming. Finding someone who wants a 9 year old is going to be pretty difficult and it will be extremely stressful for her too. Maybe you can at least keep her. Bathing also reduces the dander that cats release which is actually what people are allergic too. When did you develop these allergies?

Thanks for your response but it is my pregnant daughter and two year old grandson who are now living with me who are the allergic ones, and they cant be medicated.

There are several Persian rescue groups in California which you might want to try. In the San Fransisco area, Persian and Himilayan Cat Rescue,http://www.persiancats.org/index.htm and PurebredsPlus http://purebredsplus.org/. The first group may be willing to do a courtesy listing for your cats on their website. In the Los Angeles area, there's http://helpingpersians.com/, which is a link to their old site but does have their contact info. I've dealt with the first two groups and can vouch for them, but I've never dealt with the LA rescue.

Because I'm curious (and a sucker for problem kitties), what do you mean about the 9 y/o hating boy cats? What exactly does she do?

thank you for the links

she will hunt the boys down and beat them up, trap them in corners and stand guard then beat them again, she is fine with girls but she hates the boys!
