First of all let me say I was extremely nervous about taking Jack to this show after having a judge tell me that he wasn't a showable color. Mimi got her championship today.
Now the brag - Jack finaled in EVERY ring!! Here is how he did:

Honey: Best Long Hair
10th Best Cat
Gonano: 2nd Best Premier (Specialty ring)

The premier class was small, so that could contribute to our success.

I can't say I'm surprised that Mimi got her championship -- she's a winner in my book!!!

Thank you everyone. Just as a note: becoming a champion in the CFA isn't very hard. Basically your cat has to go to 6 rings without being DQ'd. I was a little concerned about Mimi because at a kitten show a judge with held her ribbons due to her tarnish - not a dq by the silver and golden standard. Thought it might happen again. Some judges seem to judge by their own standards at times instead of what has been written by the breed council.

Lynda... I don't understand. Are those names to the left the judges??? Or, did you take that many cats???

Those are the judges names to the left. The awards are all Jacks.
