According to the show, the Himalayan's so-called "health problems" are eye stains and hairballs. No mention of PKD whatsoever.

Boy oh boy! That is right on the money!!! I have hairball issues constantly! I have all kinds of "hairball" food and the problem persists....and yes, I've tried all those icky sticky things and they won't eat it and if I try to rub on face or paws to lick off, it just gets all over everywhere except inside them!

Well, hairballs are more of a nuisance than a health problem, in my opinion. The point of my post was this show should have did their research into the real health problems of the Himalayan, PKD in particular.

Cat, do your boys eat canned food at all? If so, try sneaking a little canned pumpkin into it. Pumpkin is a good and natural hairball remedy.

Tracy...no they put their little noses in the air (and that's not easy when you have noses that size, lol) and walk away. I've even tried offering chicken/turkey baby food and they won't eat that either. I've tried forcing it into Mandu's mouth to no avail....what a mess that was, hehehehe.
