Linda, I'm very sorry to hear about Maggie's situation, but she was loved and happy during her time with you.

OH Linda,

I'm so sorry to hear about Maggie's decline. Please know you both are in all our prayers and we will be thinking of you. Loosing a beloved fur-friend is always so difficult and Maggie has been through so much but at least her time with you has shown her what love reallly is.

Well, Maggie is hanging in there. On Saturday, her gums were white, she was totally disorientated, and she was breathing shallowly. I honestly didn't think she would make it through Sunday.

But Maggie is Maggie and does what she wants! Her gums are nice and pink, she is not disorientated (gone exploring in the rest of the house), and she even trotted around this morning from the pottybox. So, better, but I don't know for how long.

I talk to my vet about this and she is having me keep notes on her condition and what I do. She said something about presenting her and Clancy to some group. She doesn't understand what is happening anymore than I do.

I have so much respect for a vet who admits they just don't know or understand and who takes advantage of those vet groups. My vet is JUST like this! Poor Maury had his pee problem and for FOUR months we were up and down and in and out of the vet...no real answers. No crystals, no stones, and the infection wasn't enough to cause this much problem. Then the cultures came and Amy was more puzzled but she went to these groups and they offered ideas and suggestions. So much progress was had. But then we ended up having PU surgery in the end. I admire your vet Linda -- she shows to me as an outsider just how much she cares for her clients. Maggie is lucky to have you both on her team!
