I think Maggie's time on earth is comeing to a close. In the last 24 hours she's deteriorated drastically. She now has problems walking. She sits by the waterbowland drinks despite having 300ml of fluids in 2 days. Worst of all, she seems confused. It's like part of her has already gone -- the part that is my Maggie Moo. And Maya is here -- I've felt her presence. I think she's come to help Maggie move on.

I love that little girl. And it hurts to see her return to the physical shape she was in when I got her. And what hurts so much more is that none of this had to happen -- she's relatively young. If the * didn't abuse her and then starve her, she would have years to live. She should be playing -- not dying. It hurts soo much...

Please, say a prayer that Maggie passes on easily...

Oh my gosh. Linda. I am so sorry. We love Maggie so much and you must know that you have given her the best year of her life. Bless you for knowing when it is time.

I know she is your soul cat, and this must be the hardest thing you've ever done. Please know that you have given her so many blessings. We will all mourn with you and celebrate her life.

Linda, I'm so very sorry to hear this. Both you and Maggie are in my prayers at this very difficult and sad time. Maggie was so blessed the day you became her mom... I'm glad she was able to know what it's like to be truly loved.

There is nothing NOTHING more important for an animal companion to know than that it is loved. They don't know from sickness or health, but they do know when they are loved. Dear little Maggie Moo certainly knew that with you, as did Maya during her short stay. I am sure she is coming for Maggie, as you sense. With lots of tears, I pray that you experience a peaceful passing for Maggie and that you remember always the love you gave to her who would have suffered and died alone otherwise. {{{HUGS}}} We will always remember little Maggie Moo. I haven't been on this forum long tho long enough to know that Maggie was blessed to have you as her human mom as I'm sure you were blessed by her wonderful presence. I'm sad to read that her time is drawing close and yet know I wouldn't want any cat of mine to go thru prolonged suffering so if the time is drawing near then I'm sending my best thoughts and prayers that Maggie goes peacefully and painlessly~ Maria, Winston and Alaska

Oh Linda, I have no eloquent words, that is not my way, all I can do is tell you my tears will join the river with the others. This is just so wrong, she went through so much and should be here for years, happy and healthy. I'm sooooo sorry.
