I am decided to stop feeding my two cats Orijen. The poop smell is overwhelming throughout the entire house. Guessing it may be too rich in proteins. Decided to stick with NV Raw. I can get it cheap and they love it as well.

really? wow. I thought Orijen was the good good stuff.

Everyone knows my cat's poop doesn't stink! :o Actually it smells when I feed her too many cookies. Today I grilled some chicken *, and she would have none of it. I have a finicky eater for sure.

really? * is edited for naughtiness? i grilled some boneless white meat chicken then.

It's not the proteins being too rich. I feed raw -- about 80% protein and no smelly poop.

It's more likely some ingredient their digestive tracts are objecting to or lack of some beneficial bacteria. Just because Orijen is a good food for many cats doesn't mean it will be a good food for every cat.
