well, last week I decided it was time for the kittens to learn to use litter with my and moms help. I checked over all the litters, and decided to get one of the new biogradeable. green litters. It was soft.. for thier little feet, I got one made of wheat and one of corn. I put it in the huge crate with them and mom, and they watched me with their huge eyes and after a minute decided to check it out, they are a very curious bunch of kittens. Well in two of them went, sniff and snorting, then, yes, they did, they tried to eat it,, good grief, cat tails and whiskers, I wiped thier little mouths out. I went and came back, and lo and behold they are using it.. very good at it, except this corn or wheat litter does not make the grade with kittens. My kittens were covered with it, thought someone has dusted them, little trails all the way through it where they play in it as well as use it. It was over all the crate, WHAT A MESS I had to laugh at the poor little things, so I emptied it out, gave them some of Bluie's crystals.. yelp, they had to bite it just once.. they are fun but oh so messy, you should see them when they are done eating..

Sounds like a real zoo but I think you are loving it,.

I tryed that litter when the I first got the girls and I know what you mean, it went in the trash in a hurry. The beads did the same thing. Sounds like the little monsters are coming right along. How is mom doing?

mom is doing great, poor girl, with six of them she does not have a chance. she looks like a Christmas tree, yesterday I saw her put one down with her paw , she is starting to teach them.
