My male persian, Aslan has started doing this also

I am am at my wits end and daily having to deal with wherever he feels like urinating. Today it was my coat, my daughters boots, and my son's school trousers! Yesterday it was my boots, my daughters homework book and my younger daughters toy. It is beyond ridiculous, and it is extremely upsetting for my children, not to mention totally stressful for myself. We have 4 litter trays in the house, ALL FOR HIM!!! My 3 other cats, moggies, who all lived here before him all do their business outside. Aslan is 2. He hasn't always done this, he did go through a phase once of pooing on the kids beds, but the urinating issue has come on suddenly. As has doing a runner to the neighbours bush for the night (he has always been an indoor cat)
