Hey Everyone!

My name is Shannon and I am from the Pittsburgh PA area. Just bought my first house with my fiance and I needed a new baby! Love cats but never had a Persian. I love my baby Lola Marie! Purchased her from a breeder and had a few problems (nothing major), but came across this website when I was researching a slight problem on her.

HI Shannon and welcome to the forums! There is alot to learn here and people to help you do just that. What kind of problem are you having with your new baby? How old is she and what color? Be prepared to share lots of pictures!

HI! sorry i have been trying to post a picture just having some problems. Any help is appreciated!!!

She is an all white blue eyed doll face. Weighs 1.9 lbs! Soon as I figure the picture thing out I will be uploading. Well she has an upper respiratory infection, currently on antibiotics. Has been having diarrhea. I took her to the vet last night and they said it could have been brought on due to stress. I did drive two hours to get her so it may be a possibility. She also looks like she has scabbing on her nose and a little red flaky skin mark on her chest. Vet said it may been ringworm!

Overall she is spunky, crazy and super cute. Despite all her kitten problems, it does not keep her down!!!!

I believe I have a link to my facebook page where I have a ton of pics!

I'm sorry to hear about your baby's issues.

1.9 lbs?? How old is your baby? I am betting she is less than 12 weeks of age, am I right?

She sounds teeny tiny, I would get her some Kitten Nutrical at Petsmart or Petco and start giving that to her to help her maintain and put on weight.

With the ringworm, please don't let your vet give her oral medication for it, it's terrible for them and she's far too tiny to risk giving it to her.

Hopefully the URI will be cleared up with antibiotics. Can't wait to see a picture of your baby :flower:

And welcome!!

1.9 lbs is very tiny for a 13 week old kitten. :o

She's a very pretty little girl but her eyes look greenish to me... I'm betting she's actually a copper eyed white. :cat:

Good luck with your new baby girl! :flower:

YOu must be so excited. Give her a little time to adjust and take care of her immediate health issues and everything will be just fine.

Any reason why? they suggested that after she finished her first antibiotic. they were going to give her an anti-fungal medication.

Her eyes are almost a blueish green. I just made sure that she wasnt deaf, i think she has selective hearing but thats just me.
