Well, As the week is over...think it's safe to say my vet is not going to respond to my letter regarding my departure as his ciient.
I thought he "might" call me on the phone, but doubted it .What can he say, really? :?: This cant be fixed, he'd know that.
Also dont think he's the type of person who'd take well to being chastized by others, likely quite indignant at my "nerve" to complain about him.
Some people can always find a way to justify their actions.. transfer the blame, even if they know in their heart they were wrong.
He strikes me that way, and I guess this confirms it.

That's perfectly ok. I had my say, am glad I did.. and I've moved on. :paw: :)
I requested my pet's records be sent to my home.. and will just watch for these in the mail.

So, this matter's over, and I thank you one last time for all your wonderful support :flower: :flower: :flower:

Sadly he's probably like my old boss and would read the letter and say well we don't need people like that and they can go somewhere else. I heard that way too often over the years when I knew my bos was in the wrong. You are much better going to another vet.

Susan

LOL @ Judy!!

Fran, his lack of a response to your letter doesn't surprise me at all. I do hope your letter made him realize he was way out of line in smacking little Percy. :x Perhaps he will think twice before ever hitting another animal in his care.

I agree with Susan, you are better off with a new vet that you can trust with your beloved furbabies. :flower: :cat: :paw:

My sister also had this vet for many years, till a recent move out of the area. (she was shocked and disgusted to hear this revelation)
We both agreed his stern and sometimes impatient manner was a big detractor, his interpersonal skills lacking at times.

We noted the huge turnover in his office staff. With the exception of one, a revolving door of new faces. Even other vets didnt stay for long.
As he's the owner and "boss" of this clinic...we thought we knew why. :)
With his rigid demeanour, believe things are run only one way for this man's practice - his way.

So his lack of response is not even slightly suprising to me, but I do hope it at least gives him some "pause for thought" :paw:

I'm so surprised that he hasn't responded. Looks like you made
a wise choice Fran in finding a new vet.

 Your former vet smacked your kitty?! How dreadful of him! People like him shouldn't be in the practice. Good for you on leaving his practice. Poor Little Percy.

This doesn't surprise me and it won't surprise me if he doesn't send the records as you asked. You may not be through with him yet, you may have to get a little "cranky" yourself ;) But don't give up, if nothing else have the new vet request them and then ask for a copy.

saying nothing to you says it all, he answered your question, he has no respect for his patients or thier owners.. you made a good decision, and Judy, you kick him and I will put him in a cage, slap him when he won't settle down.
