GROOMING: SHAVING/LION CUT

Shaving a Persian is quite common, but it's ultimately up to the owner.
Sometimes the knots can be too horrendous. Or maybe it's just time to let your Persian grow out a
fresh coat. Either way, a shaved Persian is certainly easier to groom! Many owners have their Persians shaved by a professional groomer every now and then. The "lion cut" is very popular.
